How to Enter
To start an application, the team leader needs to complete the online team registration process. Once the team is registered, the team leader will receive an email with a link to print the Registration Form and instructions with links for each team participant to register online individually.
Each team member must register online individually by the application deadline for the team application to be considered.
All team members and their corresponding authorized college or university representatives must sign the Registration Form.
In addition, each team member must submit a letter from his or her university to verify class standing and enrollment or recent graduation status.
The letter must be issued in college or university letterhead, and signed by an authorized representative of the university.
We suggest that all teams verify the information included on the letter before mailing it to us.
Please carefully review the details of a verification letter as official transcripts and/or enrollment verifications from the University Registrar do not contain all of the required information.
For current students, the letter from their college or university must include the following student information explicitly (see sample):
-
- Student’s full name
- Verification of enrollment by stating enrollment in the Fall 2019 quarter or semester
- Standing i.e. Junior, Senior, Full-time graduate, or equivalent
- Major, minor and/or concentration, at least one of which must be in one of the eligible disciplines listed here.
For recent graduates, the letter from their college or university must include the following information explicitly (see sample):
-
- Graduate’s full name
- Date of graduation or completion of degree requirements, which cannot be earlier than Spring 2019
- Degree awarded, which must be in one of the eligible disciplines listed here.
Once you have obtained all the necessary documents, ensure your application is complete with the Application Check List.
The signed Registration Form, resumes and proofs of enrollment must be mailed by the application deadline to the following address:
- Walt Disney Imagineering
Attn: Imaginations Design Competition
1401 Flower St. MC9030
Glendale, CA 91201
All applications must be postmarked by Oct. 11, 2019 to be considered for the competition.
